First Frost
I took this photo with my phone yesterday; and truth be told I would never have taken it if it wasn’t for the fact that my right knee was in a tremendous amount of pain. It has been bothering me since we got back from vacation, but Tuesday I pushed it over the edge by doing too much on it. Because of that I parked in a different place to do one pathetically slow, small loop of the state park parking lot. That loop is about 1/10 of our normal morning walk, but it probably took us as long.
Still, ever the optimist, I try to find something good in most situations, and I figured thanks to my knee pain, I got this shot of the first frost of the season as it rested on the sand, while heavily empathized the tire tracks and the footprints.
I processed this in Snapseed and iColorama, a good reminder of my digital photography days of making photos look like paintings.
