Writing, for me, is the understructure upon which all my art practices are built. Writing comes from a place of memory and observation.

It all begins with the iPhone and an idea. Capturing memories and creating stories. Also, I love finding just the right music.

Art is a journey not a destination. I work mainly in acrylics on wood panels, but if that isn’t working I will lose myself in my sketchbook.

Places are a huge inspiration for all of my work. Northern Michigan or a summer meadow close to home. Also daily morning walks at the beach.
