Art Journey

Years of being a photographer and writer has taught me to be observant. Approach each outing with curiosity.

Maybe I have been approaching my painting all wrong. Maybe it isn’t about have a theme, as much as it is about daily observations. What caught my eye on a particular day that I can bring back to my work. Then through an accumulative process of layers of marks, colors, shapes and words, these become the paintings.

And maybe that is my overarching theme - Life Observed.

  • Studio Diary

    Documenting the process.

  • Sketchbook Work

The sketchbook allows freedom for play.

  • Art Projects

I do best when I view my work as experiments.
